Summer Time Fun

It has been a while since I have posted anything.  It seems difficult for me to make time to create a post as well as upload my pictures.  Below I am including some of our summer highlights.  On June 3rd, we celebrated my sweet little man's first birthday.  It is so hard to believe how the time has flown by the past year.  I have always heard after your first child that the time really does fly by, and it so true.  Will has brought so much joy to our family.  Although he does have quite a temper, he is pretty much a happy go lucky go with the flow baby.  We also recently celebrated the fourth of July.  We had hoped to see some fireworks, but they were a little past the boys' bedtimes so we didn't make it.  Maybe next year . . .

 I'm the BIG O-N-E!!!!!

Cute Words

Being a typical mama, I think that my boys do some of the cutest things ever.  Lately, my big boy Jack's pronunciation of words are so cute.  The way he pronounces some of his words just make my heart smile.  Here are some my favs.

- Tractor is "twactor"
- Daddy is "daey"
- Look is "wook"
- Motorcycle is "notocycle"
- Digger is "digga"
- Instead of saying "I didn't" he says "I not do it."
- Truck is "twuck"
- Brother is "brudda"

Tractor Book for Jackson

Yesterday, the boys and I decided to go to TJ Maxx while we waited for my mom while she went to the doctor.  Jackson couldn't wait, because I told him we could go look around the toy section.  Of course, right when we get to the toy section, Jackson says, "Mommy, I made poopy."  So we trotted back to the car and changed his diaper.  He was such a good boy that I decided to buy him a treat.  He chose a book about machines.  For the past 48 hours, he has been completely enthralled with this book.  It has 100 pictures of machines, and I think he has said 1000 times, "Look at that!" pointing to every picture in the book.  It is so wonderful to see him be so excited over such a simple thing.  I knew today that God wanted me to look at things through the simplicity of a child's eyes.  It is great to view the world as if you are looking at things with excitement and wonder. My favorite thing is when he keeps saying, "Look at the digger mommy.  It my favorite!"
